What is permanent make-up?
Permanent make-up has been given many names in recent years. It is often also called cosmetic tattooing, PMU or pigmentation.
Pigments are implemented into the upper dermis with the help of a tattoo machine. The machine makes many small dots which, depending on the technique, create defined lines or a soft shadow. Permanent make-up can create a made-up effect that lasts 3 to 5 years.
Permanent make-up includes eyebrows (contour shaping, filling in, emphasising), eyeliner (eyelash line thickening, fine to strong lines for eyeliner), lip pigmentation (contour shaping, enlarging or reducing) and beauty spots.
Microblading is a form of permanent make-up, but this technique involves carving hairs into the skin with a blade.

You will be more satisfied if you prepare your skin properly. The area of the eyebrows, eyes and lips must be healthy, intact, insensitive and free of irritation. After the treatment
If you decide to make an appointment, you should allow time for the healing phase. During the first 5-7 days, depending on the treatment you choose, you may experience slight redness, swelling, flaking (peeling) and other healing effects. Read more about what to expect after the procedure here.
