Nano Brows
Realistic Hair Stroke Technique
The realistic hair stroke technique involves pigmenting individual hairs in a customized design to imitate natural, original hair growth. There is no other permanent makeup technique that looks more NATURAL than Nano Brows. Unlike microblading, the hair strokes are not scratched into the skin but gently and skin-friendly pigmented with a machine and adapted to the natural hair.
When is the Nano Brows technique suitable?
To achieve a perfect Nano Brows result, we consider the following three points during client consultation:
1. Original Eyebrows: Nano Brows can be a suitable technique for thin hair, sparse eyebrows, and even alopecia to achieve your desired eyebrows. Excessively dense, thick hair or lifted (laminated) brows are exclusion criteria for Nano Brows.
2. Previous Work: Nano Brows can very rarely be applied over old permanent makeup. For already pigmented eyebrows, clients must ensure that the old eyebrows are faded enough—please book a consultation appointment for this.
3. Suitable Skin: Naturally, Nano Brows work best on healthy skin, as the fine hair strokes appear most clearly on smooth, fine-pored skin. However, dry skin or skin that frequently shows age spots or freckles is also considered a suitable skin base, as the pigment can hold well there. For clients with oily skin, large pores, or inflammatory acne, Nano Brows can also be a good choice under certain circumstances.
Alternatives to the Nano Brows technique are:
The Technique
Using combined line and shading techniques, an individually customized eyebrow hair pattern is pigmented with a machine, making you look as if you were born with naturally perfect eyebrow hairs. Combined with the use of different needle sizes, this technique helps to mimic the texture, depth, and movement of real eyebrow hair and adds depth to the hairs even on flat (hairless) surfaces. The spaces between the hair strokes can also be lightly shaded to imitate denser and fuller brows. Learn more under Combo Brows.
The hair stroke technique is suitable for all skin types. The procedure takes 3 to 4 hours, depending on how much natural hair you have and how full the brows should be. Bleeding is minimal and healing time is typically shorter than with microblading, as the skin is far less traumatized. The result visibly fades after 12–18 months and should be completely faded after 2 to 3 years.
Permanent Makeup for Hair Loss
Permanent makeup can help restore self-confidence for individuals experiencing various disease-related or medication-related hair loss.
When hair falls out due to chemotherapy or alopecia, for example, eyebrows and lashes can be visually restored through permanent makeup.
