Policies

At Pearl Tattoo Berlin, we work with the skin condition you present. Therefore, we cannot always guarantee 100% perfect symmetry or ideal results, especially if there are issues such as volume differences or skin conditions. If you do not adhere to policies for your appointment, such as taking painkillers, the appointment will be canceled, the deposit will not be refunded, and no treatment will take place. Therefore, please read the following policies carefully.

Deposits and Appointment Booking:

• Deposit: A deposit is required to book your appointment. This will be credited towards the total cost of your service. The deposit ensures that you take the appointment seriously and genuinely wish to attend. Upon receipt, the deposit becomes taxable and is non-refundable. Appointment Rescheduling and No-Shows:

• Appointment Rescheduling: If you wish to reschedule your appointment, please do so at least 48 hours in advance via our online booking system or inform us by email. Rescheduling after this period will require a new deposit, and the old deposit will be retained. Multiple reschedules may require a new deposit.
• No-Shows: If you miss an appointment without prior cancellation, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the service price.

Touch-ups:

• Touch-ups: These are not always necessary, as every skin heals differently. A touch-up usually takes place 6 to 12 weeks after the initial appointment and is not included in the price of the initial appointment. The touch-up of external pigmentation is considered a new treatment and may be declined.
• A refresh after 12 weeks is possible and will be charged at our respective hourly rate.

Punctuality:

• Lateness: If you are running late, please inform us via WhatsApp. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be canceled, and the deposit will be forfeited. A new deposit will be required for a new appointment. Please allow sufficient time to arrive punctually.

Price Increases:

• Prices and Conditions: The prices and conditions agreed upon at the time of booking will remain valid.

General Information:

• Previous Pigmentation: If you already have old external pigmentation, please send us a clear photo without makeup via email or WhatsApp before booking your appointment. This helps us check if you are suitable for the treatment.
• Healing Process: Everyone heals differently, and results depend heavily on the healing process. Specific results or color preferences cannot be guaranteed, especially with dark lips, problematic skin, or covering an old tattoo. Multiple sessions may be required to achieve the desired result.
• Services: All services rendered are non-refundable.

Herpes and Exclusion Criteria:

• Herpes: If you suffer from cold sores, you can still have your lips tattooed. However, you should take antiviral medication to prevent an outbreak or reduce its severity. Consult your doctor for suitable medication. Without medicinal precautions, there is a high probability of a herpes outbreak on the third day after pigmentation, which can affect the tattoo.
• Exclusion Criteria: Treatment will not be performed on:
  • Minors (consent forms are not accepted)
  • Breastfeeding or pregnant mothers
  • Individuals with blood clotting disorders or those taking blood-thinning medication
  • Drug users
  • External pigmentation without prior consultation
  • Wounds, inflammations (including pimples), or rashes in the treated area

Preparation:

• Preparation: Please refer to our preparation guidelines here.
• Eyebrows: If desired, eyebrow hairs can be plucked on the day of the appointment.
