Powder Brows
With the powder technique, the skin behind the eyebrow hairs is lightly shaded to provide a soft and natural effect of tinted eyebrows. This allows asymmetries to be balanced out and ensures full and beautiful volume.
You decide on the intensity of the shading yourself. Whether you prefer maximum naturalness without a contour or a defined lower contour for a concealer effect. This technique is particularly popular with clients who want an expressive yet natural look.
The Technique
Ombré Powder Brows are achieved through shading that is darker at the back of the eyebrow and lighter at the front. This creates an ombré gradient, hence the name.
The final result is powdered, filled brows that resemble the look of makeup-applied eyebrows. The characteristic soft start of Powder Brows creates a natural and subtle look. Ombré Powder Brows can be pigmented on all skin types and are individually adjusted in shape, color, and intensity.
The pigmentation process takes about 1 hour, depending on how much natural hair you have and how full you want the brows to be. Bleeding is minimal and the healing time is usually shorter than with microblading, as the skin is significantly less traumatized. The result fades slowly within 12–18 months and should be completely faded after 2 to 3 years.
There are many different versions of Powder Brows. Generally, they can be divided into three categories.
- Contourless: Contourless Powder Brows have no defined edges and are a simple thickening of your own eyebrows.
- Ombré Powder Brows: The lower contour of the brow is defined with a clear edge. Towards the top and front, the shading fades gently into a powder look.
- “Vegas Brows”: Strongly defined Powder Brows in a makeup look. The upper and lower contours are clear lines, while the shading fades out gently towards the front.
I would be happy to advise you on which Powder Brows technique suits you! Naturally, an individual consultation is conducted before every treatment, but if you would like to talk about your wishes without any obligation first, I also offer free consultation appointments.
Healed Results
Permanent makeup requires 6 weeks to heal completely. The colors fade and sharp edges appear softer.
With permanent makeup of the eyebrows, as with any pigmentation, a skin wound is created to bring the pigment under the skin. Therefore, the correct aftercare of the wound is very important to create a flawless result. It is natural for a scab to form after a skin injury. This must never be scratched off! After a few days, the scab will fall off on its own. Externally, the eyebrows will now appear lighter, suggesting that the healing process is complete. However, regeneration in the deeper layers of the skin still needs to take place. Full healing is only achieved after approximately 28 to 35 days.
Since skin is very individual, a follow-up treatment may be necessary. Generally, shape and color adjustments can be made during the touch-up. Reasons for a touch-up can include incorrect aftercare. With the right care, which will be provided to you after the pigmentation, you can further support your skin during the healing process and the color intensity of your new eyebrows will last longer.
Cover-up
An external pigmentation refers to old permanent makeup that was not performed by me. If you are dissatisfied with your external pigmentation, there are various options. If old microblading or powder brows are still visible, I would always recommend Powder Brows or Combo Brows as a cover-up; however, generally, the old PMU must be faded by about 80%. A cover-up may require several sessions. Please send me a well-lit, sharp photo or book a consultation to ensure that you are a suitable candidate for a cover-up.

Realistic Hair Strokes
If you prefer a more natural look, I recommend the Nano technique. Unlike microblading, the hairs are not scratched into the skin but are pigmented gently and skin-friendly with a machine. With an eyebrow hair pattern designed individually for you, your eyebrows will look full and defined again.
