Powder Brows
With the powder technique, the skin behind the eyebrow hairs is lightly shaded to give a soft and natural effect of tinted eyebrows. This way, asymmetries can be evened out and provide a full and beautiful volume.
You yourself decide on the intensity of the shading. Whether maximum naturalness without contour or a defined lower contour for a concealer effect. This technique is particularly popular with clients who want an expressive yet natural look.
The technology
Ombré Powder Brows are achieved by shading the back of the eyebrow darker and the front lighter. This creates an ombré colour gradient, hence the name.
The final result is powdered, filled brows that resemble the look of made-up eyebrows. The characteristic soft start of Powder Brows creates a natural and subtle look. Ombré Powder Brows can be pigmented on all skin types and are customised in shape, colour and intensity.
Pigmentation takes about 1 hour, depending on how much natural hair you have and how full you want your brows to be. Bleeding is minimal and healing time is usually shorter than microblading as there is less damage to the skin around. The result fades slowly within 12 - 18 months and should be completely faded after 2 to 3 years.
There are many different types of powder brows. Generally, they can be divided into three categories.
- Contourless: Contourless Powder Brows have no defined edges and are a simple thickening of your own eyebrows.
- Ombré Powder Brows: The lower contour of the brow is defined and a clear edge. Towards the top and front, the shading fades gently into a powder look.
- "Vegas Brows": Strongly defined powder brows with a make-up look. The upper and lower contour is a clear line, the shading tapers off gently towards the front.
I will be happy to advise you on which Powder Brows technique suits you best! Of course, an individual consultation is held before every treatment, but if you would like to talk about your wishes first without any pressure, I also offer free consultations.
Healed results
Permanent make-up takes 6 weeks to heal completely. The colours fade and sharp edges appear softer.
With permanent make-up of the eyebrows, as with any pigmentation, a skin wound is created to bring the pigment under the skin. Therefore, the correct Aftercare of the wound is very important to create a flawless result. It is natural for a wound crust/scab to form after an injury to the skin. This must not be scraped off under any circumstances! After a few days, the scab will fall off all by itself. Externally, the eyebrows are now lighter and it can be assumed that the healing process is complete. However, regeneration in the deeper layers of the skin still has to take place. Only after about 28 to 35 days is the healing complete.
Since skin is very individual, it may be necessary to do a touch-up. Generally, shape and colour adjustments can be made during re-piercing. Reasons for a re-pigmentation can be a faulty aftercare. With the right care, which is given to you after the pigmentation, you can additionally support your skin in the healing process and the colour intensity of your new eyebrows will last longer.
Cover-up
A Foreign pigmentation is an old permanent make-up that has not been stitched by me. If you are unhappy with your foreign pigmentation, there are several options. If you still have visible old Microblading or Powder Brows, I would always advise Powder Brows or Combi Brows as a cover-up, but generally the old PMU must have faded by about 80%. A cover-up can take several sessions. Please send me a well exposed, sharp picture or book a consultation to make sure you are a suitable candidate for a cover-up.

Realistic hair drawing
If you prefer a more natural look, I recommend the Nano technique. Unlike mircoblading, the hairs are not scratched into the skin, but gently and carefully pigmented with a machine. With an individually designed eyebrow hair pattern, your eyebrows will look fuller and more defined again.
