Eyebrow Permanent Makeup
Eyebrows are a crucial facial feature, as they frame the eyes and influence your overall appearance.
Often, natural eyebrows grow sparsely, are asymmetrical, or are entirely absent. Many people painstakingly draw on their eyebrows daily. Permanent makeup can solve these problems and provide a more symmetrical, flattering appearance.
Depending on your natural hair growth, skin type, and expectations, there are various pigmentation styles and techniques. All treatments are custom-tailored and individually designed for each client. If you are unsure what is best for you or have general questions, I would be happy to advise you.
Nano Brows
There is no other permanent makeup technique that looks more natural than the hair stroke technique. Unlike microblading, the hair strokes are not cut into the skin but are gently and skin-friendly pigmented with a machine, matching the natural hair.
Nano Brows can be pigmented on all skin types and are individually adjusted in shape, color, and intensity. A cover-up is not possible with Nano Brows.
Ombré Powder Brows
Ombré Powder Brows are achieved through shading, which is darker at the tail of the eyebrow and lighter at the front. This creates an ombré color gradient, hence the name. The final result is powdered, filled brows that resemble the look of makeup-filled eyebrows. The characteristic soft start of Powder Brows creates a natural and subtle look.
Ombré Powder Brows can be pigmented on all skin types and are individually adjusted in shape, color, and intensity. A cover-up is possible with Powder Brows.
Combi Brows
A combination of Nano and Powder Brows combines the best of both worlds. The individual placement of hair strokes ensures naturalness, and the shading between the hair strokes or at the tail of the eyebrow adds volume and expressiveness.
Combi Brows can be pigmented on all skin types and are individually adjusted in shape, color, and intensity. A cover-up is possible with Combi Brows.
Microblading or Permanent Makeup?
Both are methods where pigments are superficially introduced into the skin, but with different techniques. I will help you understand the beauty and objectives of both techniques.
Microblading is an amazing eyebrow technique with remarkably natural-looking results. However, as an amazing technique, it is also sensitive to many factors. It is not only in the hands of the artist, but your health and skin play an equally important role in the outcome. With the help of a thin blade, fine cuts are made into the skin, intended to resemble eyebrow hairs. If handled incorrectly, this invasive method can quickly go too deep, leading to scars.
Whether combination skin (T-zone) or oily skin (large pores and constant oiliness), both skin types are very sensitive and react easily to small injuries. In conjunction with natural sebum, which displaces pigments during the healing phase, this leads either to a faded result or blurred strokes and generally a short lifespan of your cosmetic tattoo.
Powder Brows or hair stroke techniques are gentler and more practical for the skin in terms of pigmentation methodology and healing. This guarantees beautiful, long-lasting results without scars, blurring, or color changes.
Treatment Process
Permanent makeup requires 6 weeks to heal completely. Colors fade, and sharp edges soften.
With permanent eyebrow makeup, as with any pigmentation, a skin wound is created to deposit the pigment under the skin. Therefore, proper aftercare of the wound is very important to achieve a flawless result. It is natural for a wound crust/scab to form after a skin injury. This must not be scratched off under any circumstances! After a few days, the scab will fall off on its own. Externally, the eyebrows are now lighter, and it might seem that the healing process is complete. However, regeneration in the deeper skin layers still needs to occur. Complete healing is only achieved after approximately 28 to 35 days.
Since skin is very individual, a touch-up may be necessary. Generally, shape and color adjustments can be made during a touch-up. Reasons for a touch-up can include incorrect aftercare. With the right care, which will be provided to you after pigmentation, you can further support your skin in the healing process and ensure the color intensity of your new eyebrows lasts longer.

Cover-up
A foreign pigmentation refers to old permanent makeup that was not done by me. If you are dissatisfied with your foreign pigmentation, there are various options. For still visible old microblading or powder brows, I would always recommend Powder Brows or Combi Brows as a cover-up; however, the old PMU must generally be about 80% faded. A cover-up may require several sessions. Please send me a well-lit, sharp photo or book a consultation to ensure you are a suitable candidate for a cover-up.
If the pigmentation is already very faded and you are generally satisfied with the shape, new pigmentation can simply be applied.
However, if there was an undesirable color change, a color correction must be performed. For color corrections, the old pigmentation is overlaid with the complementary color, i.e., for reddish eyebrows with an olive tone and for gray-blue eyebrows with an orange tone. Afterwards, Powder Brows can be pigmented with the desired brown tone.
If a foreign pigmentation has not faded sufficiently, new pigmentation cannot simply be applied. If your permanent makeup is older than 5 years and still clearly visible, it was unfortunately applied too deeply or caused scarring. This must be treated with caution and professionally removed.
At home, you can use retinol or chemical peels (BHA, AHA) over the pigmentation to help it fade. Professionally, you can also have a fruit acid peel done.
Permanent makeup is reliably removed with a laser. Have the laser method performed exclusively by a trained expert who traces the affected areas with a special laser device. The color pigments of the permanent makeup are heated and reduced in size. This causes them to fade more and more with each treatment. Therefore, you will need several sessions for a satisfactory result. Disadvantages of laser treatment are that the laser cannot treat every pigment. Especially very light, green, and blue shades usually only fade and cannot be completely removed.
Additionally, there is the remover technique, where permanent makeup is removed using a solution based on metal oxides or acids. This clear solution is also injected under the skin, where it undergoes a chemical reaction with the color pigments, causing them to be rejected. Several treatments may also be necessary with the remover technique. I only recommend this method for the eyebrow area or over-lined lips, i.e., pure facial skin.
Please contact me via Whatsapp or email with a clearly sharp and well-lit picture of your foreign pigmentation. Only then can I determine if you are a candidate for a cover-up.
