Realistic hair-stroke technique
With the realistic hair-stroke technique, individual hairs are pigmented in a custom design to imitate natural, original hair growth. There is no other permanent make-up technique that looks MORE NATURAL than Nano Brows. Unlike microblading, the hairs are not cut into the skin; instead, they are gently and skin-friendly pigmented with a machine and adapted to the natural hair.
When is the Nano Brows technique suitable?
To achieve perfect Nano Brows results, we consider the following three points during the consultation:
1. Natural eyebrows: Nano Brows can be a suitable technique for achieving your desired brows if you have fine hair, sparse eyebrows, or even alopecia (Alopecia). Very dense, thick hairs or lifted brows (lamination) are exclusion criteria for Nano Brows.
2. Previous work: In very rare cases, Nano Brows can be done over old permanent make-up. If your eyebrows have already been pigmented, you must ensure the old work is light enough—please book a consultation appointment for this.
3. Suitable skin: Of course, Nano Brows work best on healthy skin, as the fine hair strokes show best on smooth, fine-pored skin. However, dry skin or skin that often has age spots or freckles is also considered a suitable base, as the pigment can hold well there. For clients with oily skin, large pores, or inflammatory acne, Nano Brows may also be a good choice under certain circumstances.

The technique
By combining line and shading techniques, a custom eyebrow hair pattern is pigmented with a machine so you look as if you were born with naturally perfect eyebrow hairs. Combined with the use of different needle sizes, this technique helps mimic the texture, depth, and movement of real eyebrow hairs and gives depth to hairs even on flat (hairless) surfaces. The hair-stroke technique is suitable for all skin types. The procedure takes 3 to 4 hours, depending on how much natural hair you have and how full you want your brows to be. Bleeding is minimal, and healing time is generally shorter than with microblading because the skin is less traumatized. The result visibly fades after 12–18 months and should be completely faded after 2 to 3 years.
