Eyebrows Permanent Make-up

Eyebrows are a defining feature of the face as they frame the eyes and influence your overall appearance.

Often, one's own eyebrows grow only sparsely, not symmetrically or are completely non-existent. As a result, many people painstakingly draw on their eyebrows every day. Permanent make-up can solve these problems and give a more symmetrical, flattering appearance.

Depending on your natural hair growth, skin type and expectations, there are different pigmentation styles and techniques. All treatments are tailor-made and individually designed for each client. So if you are unsure what is best for you or you have general questions, I will be happy to advise you.

Nano Brows

There is no other permanent make-up technique that looks more natural than the hairs technique. Unlike mircoblading, the hairs are not scratched into the skin, but gently pigmented with a machine and matched to the natural hair.

Nano Brows can be pigmented on all skin types and are customised in shape, colour and intensity. A cover-up is not possible with Nano Brows.

Ombré Powder Brows

Ombré Powder Brows are achieved by shading the back of the eyebrow darker and the front lighter. This creates an ombré colour gradient, hence the name. The final result is powdered, filled brows that resemble the look of made-up eyebrows. The characteristic soft start of the Powder Brows creates a natural and subtle look.

Ombré Powder Brows can be pigmented on all skin types and are customised in shape, colour and intensity. A cover-up is possible with Powder Brows.

Combi Brows

A combination of Nano and Powder Brows combines the best of both. The individual setting of the hairs ensures naturalness and the shading between the hairs or at the back of the eyebrow adds volume and expressiveness.

Kombi Brows can be pigmented on all skin types and are customised in shape, colour and intensity. A cover-up is possible with Kombi Brows.

Microblading or Permanent Makeup?

Both are a method of applying pigments superficially to the skin, but with different techniques. I will help you understand the beauty and purpose of both techniques.

Microblading is an amazing eyebrow technique with remarkably natural looking results.... However, as an amazing technique, it is equally sensitive to many factors. Not only is it in the hands of the artist, but your health and skin play an equally important role in the outcome. A thin blade is used to make fine incisions in the skin that are meant to resemble eyebrow hairs. This invasive method can quickly become too deep if handled incorrectly, leading to scars.

Whether you have combination skin (T-zone) or oily skin (large pores and a constant oily shine), both skin types are very sensitive and react easily to small injuries. Combined with the natural sebum that displaces the pigments during the healing phase, this leads to either a faded result or blurred strokes and generally a short lifespan of your cosmetic tattoo.

Powder Brows or hair drawing are gentler and more practical for the skin in terms of pigmentation methodology, as well as healing. This guarantees beautiful, long-lasting results without scars, blurring or colour changes.

Treatment process

Permanent make-up takes 6 weeks to heal completely. The colours fade and sharp edges appear softer.

With permanent make-up of the eyebrows, as with any pigmentation, a skin wound is created to bring the pigment under the skin. Therefore, the correct Aftercare of the wound is very important to create a flawless result. It is natural for a wound crust/scab to form after an injury to the skin. This must not be scraped off under any circumstances! After a few days, the scab will fall off all by itself. Externally, the eyebrows are now lighter and it can be assumed that the healing process is complete. However, regeneration in the deeper layers of the skin still has to take place. Only after about 28 to 35 days is the healing complete.

Since skin is very individual, it may be necessary to do a touch-up. Generally, shape and colour adjustments can be made during re-piercing. Reasons for a re-pigmentation can be a faulty aftercare. With the right care, which is given to you after the pigmentation, you can additionally support your skin in the healing process and the colour intensity of your new eyebrows will last longer.

Cover-up

A Foreign pigmentation is an old permanent make-up that has not been stitched by me. If you are unhappy with your foreign pigmentation, there are several options. If you still have visible old Microblading or Powder Brows, I would always advise Powder Brows or Combi Brows as a cover-up, but generally the old PMU must have faded by about 80%. A cover-up can take several sessions. Please send me a well exposed, sharp picture or book a consultation to make sure you are a suitable candidate for a cover-up.

If the pigmentation has already faded a lot and you are basically happy with the shape, you can simply re-pigment.

However, if there has been an unattractive change in colour, a colour correction must be made. For colour corrections, the old pigmentation is overpigmented with the complementary colour, i.e. for reddish eyebrows with an olive shade and for grey-blue eyebrows with an orange shade. Then you can pigment Powder Brows with the desired brown shade.

If the foreign pigmentation has faded insufficiently, you cannot simply re-pigment. If your permanent make-up is older than 5 years and still clearly visible, unfortunately it was stung too deeply or there was scarring. This should be treated with care and must be professionally removed.

At home, you can use retinol or chem. Peelings (BHA, AHA) over the pigmentation to help it fade. Professionally, you can also have a fruit acid peel done.

Permanent make-up is reliably removed with the laser. Have the laser method performed exclusively by a trained expert who traces the affected areas with a special laser device. The colour pigments of the permanent make-up are heated and reduced in size. This causes them to fade more and more with each treatment. Therefore, you need several sessions for a satisfactory result. The disadvantages of laser treatment are that the laser cannot treat every pigment. Especially particularly light, green and blue shades usually only fade and cannot be removed completely.

In addition, there is also the remover technique, where the permanent make-up is removed by a solution based on metal oxides or acids. This transparent solution is also pierced under the skin and enters into a chemical reaction with the colour pigments, causing them to be repelled. The remover technique may also require several treatments. I recommend this method only for the eyebrow area or painted-over lips, i.e. clean facial skin.

Please contact me via Whatsapp or email with a clearly sharp and well exposed picture of your foreign pigmentation. Only then can I decide whether you are a candidate for a cover-up.

A Foreign pigmentation is an old permanent make-up that was not applied by me. If you are unhappy with your external pigmentation, there are various options. If old microblading or powder brows are still visible, I would always recommend powder brows or combination brows as a cover-up, but in general the old PMU must have faded by around 80%. In the case of insufficiently faded foreign pigmentation, it is not possible to simply re-pigment. If the permanent make-up is older than 5 years and still clearly visible, it has unfortunately been applied too deeply or with the wrong pigments. This should be treated with caution and must be removed professionally.
